twitters

Hello dear Twitterers

Welcome to my branch
so lovely to hear your voice
touching light across the trees
leaving sweet song sparkles
drifting in the breeze

or or see you flying steep across the skies
strong call wide sweep shadow
fast across the ground

your sharp keen eye and long claw grasp
bend deep and spring to launch
seeing far and flying high
wise and sharp and clear

or your light as air
and breath and mist
magic glyphs revealed

so glad to see you
stop a moment
here in my small tree
sometime home
cheeky Australian parrot
sometime to quirky Swiss blaumeisen

I hope your rest was sweet and
rewarded with a seed
a trinket, a shinybright idea

to carry on
to share along
with the bees of
cross pollination :)

About me

I work in Practical Alchemy simple formulas for transformation.

As a qualified Mentor, Coach and Teacher, I have been Mentor and Teacher to many starting out on their Creative Journeys. A mother too and artistic explorer I know the value of the wide open witness and precious protector for all things new and possible.

Praise :)

Thank you Kaye for facilitating the Wrap-Up & Set-Up. It seems to make a huge difference having someone guide one through and hold an open, loving space – keeping it simple and asking the poignant questions that trigger realisation and revelation. I hadn’t realised just how challenged the year had felt (for me) and how with hindsight, planning and innocent desire I can influence the future – bringing me closer to a year I’d like to have. Anne Errey– Fine Artist and Arts Educator & Mentor
Thanks to Kaye Llewelyn for your great coaching on the call to set our goals for 2012! It's amazing what we all accomplished in a one hour call! I am totally empowered and feelin' COURAGEOUS :) You rock , girl.  Indra Teacher
Kaye, thanks so much for the wrap up session at the end of 2011, it was so helpful and I keep referring back to the notes I made. It really helped me to get things in focus, even pointing out the 'little' things, you know like getting drawers in order and stuff like that. Also the online format worked really well, and was very user friendly.  Leanne Berelowitz - Artist. Teacher. Mama

playing footsies with my fly-tribe

magic afoot - boots in confetti bombed Basler Fasnacht
There's wonder everywhere
What a magical mystery tour it's been
the flying carpet ride daring to step out into
the big world moving to the other side of the earth
the wide web world of multitude flowering creativity
the internal backroads and forgotten corners that have been waiting to come out and play

Having family and friends to write home to or skype in a moment of crosstime connection
My man in the other room playing his own game
And my fly-tribe out there paving their own ways
sharing their lessons and learnings
their tips and tools
wearing their own shoes and sharing the journey

It was their idea to share shoes together - on this day
and laughed cos I'd been doing just that
I started in spring and we pulled down our house - well half of it
Then we left home and I could have had wings or airplane sox ;)
If I'd had sandles with henna red dust that'd be india
then my favourite reds in the new lands autumn/herbst/fall
the boots came out for winter
the wooly deep in snow
and the shiny black buckled speeding ski kind

now the spring is here
so out come the reds again
ready to jump then
I look forward to the summer
and seeing my toes

it's a jump over the old and up to the new . . .

who said it -
"to really know someone - walk a mile in their shoes"
thank you all for sharing your journeys
here I sit today on my birthday in these
slippers knitted by the inimitable Joan
mother of two of my dearest friends and
knitter for many a spirit seekers feet,
musing on my mother who borned me today, many years ago
and all the places I've been since then . . .

tea, me and reverie

finding YOUR way - it's not about winning

So I'm in the mountains again but this time to cheer on Oliver who is skiing in the Engadine Ski Marathon. He set doing this for the first time as his challenge of the year. It starts in his parents winter hometown so the going there wasn't a big deal but to see the place transformed as the 11,000 + skiers lined up and the disco music blasted and warm up crew had them all YMCAing was fun. Then the heart rousing 1492 theme counted them down to the big start. And off they went all charged.

It reminded me of the Swiss version of the City to Surf. It's never been my thing. How do you find your way in that sea of people? But this time I met it with new eyes and I saw that you could only find your way. There are maybe a couple of hundred who have any chance of actually winning so it's not about that for most. It's about having a go. It's about their personal best. For some that means time, some placing, some it's about the laughs and the team spirit and just making it.

We cheered on Snow White and her 7 Dwarfs, there were Pink Panthers and Disco Fro's, a Nun,  a Friar and a good gang of Mohawks. So you can do it with flair or bright coloured hair. We met the Bear. She was usually the fastest of her group but what the heck this time she was almost an hour longer - oh but the smiles she got and the fun and laughter gave her 2012 race the joy she was after.
Her father at 85 was making his 44th race and the guy on the train had the badges of
all 17 he'd been in. And every one different. Everyone, in their own way.

Oliver got back with a first success and a new benchmark, the Bear came back with a Cheshire grin, the Grandpa a broken arm but still a smile, the man on the train with a new orange badge
and a glow from inside.

What challenge have you set yourself ?
It doesn't have to be a race. Where will you have a go?
Then more importantly and much more significantly -  how do you want to play?

turn the corner

navigation - from a farewell gift to find my way

I set out under this big brand new sky
to plot a course in a new hemisphere and
amid the sparkles and orbits of the vast
wide web world
casting out nets and bringing them in
full of gems and treasures and shiny things
lost for days
found in moments

what's my way and how do I play?
questions bring me back
how do I turn off the lights
dazzling outside and redirect them
to finding that one light inside?

quietly waiting
to be cupped and protected
from the winds and words of the unsuspected.
Held and grown till it radiates wide
and is set off to slide

onto the rivers of its own

serendipity

I had plenty of warnings but I guess I had to really feel it - lost in the swirling webby world. I know about boundaries to keep the baddies out but what about the ones to keep the wonderful at bay while I remember the wonderful in me? And let it's sparkle be the light that shines my way.

My feet hit ground today - and here's what I want to say:

My new tips for wild wooly web navigation . . .

* Go with a purpose - write a big note - WHAT FOR? - what's my intention for this next adventure?

* When you're out there leave a trail - breadcrumbs even to find your way home - don't just hover, drop down too, leave a hello or a thank you note. Bookmark for returns but then come on home -
late night  parties will burn you out.

* Back home take a moment to recall where you've been and for all those beauties that you've read and seen acknowledge within you, your own particular gleam.

* Jump up and down walk down the street, remember you come in a body with feet.

* Speak to someone who knows you well, about the kids or the dogs or the weather. Then witness yourself speak about where you've been, who you are now from it and
what you're gonna do about it. . .

* Then you're ready to take the step off the curb into your way - turn off the browser and tune in to that one thing - your choosing for today!

ps. this stuff works for any kind of lost

How's your navigation going? Do you have your star to guide by? Your compass set? Stand on the corner look both ways, where have you been? Where do you want to go? But most importantly -
How do you want it to feel when you get there?
Plot your own course to there!

Hey and if you need help
I'm right here
